People of the Forest

POF_0205_HANDS.jpeg

There were once hundreds of thousands of orangutans in Borneo. Today less than 60,000 remain.  'People of the Forest' is a short film  celebrating the BOS foundation conservationists who dedicate their lives to save the orangutan from extinction.

The Borneo Orangutan Survival Foundation works with local communities and the Indonesian government to rescue orangutans and combat the threats to their existence such as deforestation, hunting, illegal pet trade, and forest fires.
