Jack Harries is a documentary filmmaker, producer, and storyteller based in Cornwall, England.

In 2011, he co-founded JacksGap, a YouTube channel that grew to over 4 million subscribers and became known for long-form documentary content exploring themes of mental health, climate change, and human connection.

In 2020, Jack co-founded Earthrise Studio, an impact-driven media company dedicated to climate storytelling. As Creative Director, he produced award-winning series including Seat at the Table and The Breakdown, and interviewed figures such as Sir David Attenborough, Jane Goodall, and President Barack Obama. Earthrise's work has been featured across major platforms and collaborated with leading environmental organizations.

Jack's work has been recognized for its cinematic approach to complex global issues, prioritizing human stories over statistics and solutions over despair.

In 2025, he launched Wild Tales, a documentary project preserving traditional British wisdom, craft, and land-based practices. Through intimate short films, online courses and curated experiences, Wild Tales connects audiences with slower, seasonal and more grounded ways of living.

Jack's approach centers on curiosity, and the belief that the most important stories aren't about problems - they're about people.
