Jack Harries is a documentary filmmaker, producer, and storyteller based in Cornwall, England.

In 2011, he co-founded JacksGap, a YouTube channel that grew to over 4 million subscribers and became known for long-form documentary content exploring themes of mental health, climate change, and human connection.

In 2020, Jack co-founded Earthrise Studio, an impact-driven media company dedicated to climate storytelling. As Creative Director, he produced award-winning series including Seat at the Table and The Breakdown, interviewing figures such as Sir David Attenborough, Jane Goodall, and President Barack Obama.

Jack's work has been recognized for its cinematic approach to complex global issues, prioritizing human stories over statistics and solutions over despair.

In 2025, inspired by his own move from London to Cornwall to grow his own food and live more self-sufficiently, Jack launched Wild Tales, a community for people who want to feel capable beyond a keyboard. Through online courses and in-person gatherings, members are connected with extraordinary practitioners who teach forgotten skills like foraging, fermenting, building, and craft.

Jack's approach centers on curiosity, and the belief that the most important stories aren't about problems - they're about people.
